PeerJ paper of possible interest to the seagrass microbiome club

Just a quick post here – there is a new PeerJ preprint I just found out about via automated Google Scholar alerts that seems like it may be of interest: Distinct root-associated bacterial communities on three wild plant species growing in a common field from Kristin Aleklett, Jonathan W Leff, Noah Fierer, and Miranda Hart​.

I am an evolutionary biologist and a Professor at U. C. Davis. (see my lab site here). My research focuses on the origin of novelty (how new processes and functions originate). To study this I focus on sequencing and analyzing genomes of organisms, especially microbes and using phylogenomic analysis
